Andropogon gerardii 'Blackhawks'

Andropogon gerardii 'Blackhawks' is a variant of a native grass whose foliage changes color throughout the season. New growth is blue-green, changing to green with red tinges later in the season, then purplish or black in late summer and early fall. Tall flower stems with purplish flowers emerge in late summer. This is a new addition for 2024.
