'Weihenstephaner Gold' has tiny, toothed, fleshy, holly-shaped leaves and spreads for form a thick groundcover upon which little yellow star-shaped flowers form in June. It spreads fairly rapidly. Unlike other common "Sedums" (now named Hylotelephiums), deer don’t bother Sedum kamtschaticum floriferum in the garden. Whle attractive, we have found that this Sedum does not form a solid enough ground cover to crowd out grass or other weeds.
