Sisyrinchium is a small plant with grass-like foliage within which small, blue, daisy-like, yellow-centered flowers form in June. Flowers are "shy": they close up at dusk and re-open in daylight. Needs full sun to bloom reliably. A good front-of-the-border plant. Deer do not bother it.
